If you enjoy mild hikes, and bird watching we highly suggest checking out the Guided Bird Walks at Montezuma Well in Rimrock, Arizona. Gather with other bird enthusiasts in the picnic area before hand. Then head out with a ranger to explore the diverse bird life inhabiting the different ecosystems around the Well.
You are encouraged to bring water, binoculars, a hat, and to wear comfortable shoes for walking The National Park Service will offer these Guide Bird Walks every first and third Saturday of each month through May 2020. After the guided Bird Walk take your time to explore the trails at Montezuma Well. Discover the tranquility of a site still considered sacred by many local tribes. The shaded forest along the trail near the swallet ruin and the outlet provides welcome relief from the unrelenting Arizona sunshine. The legacy of the Sinagua culture surrounds you during a visit to Montezuma Well.
