What is the cancellation policy?

48 hours prior to arrival. This may vary, depending on special rates. Group and Package reservations have a 72 hour cancellation.

What is your deposit policy?

A valid chip-enabled credit card is required at check-in.  The hotel does not require a deposit at the time of booking.  Certain rates or special offers will have restrictions and may be charged at the time of booking.  The advance purchase rate is 100% pre-paid and nonrefundable.

Is there an amenity fee?

At Sky Rock Inn of Sedona we strive to provide guests with a memorable experience that includes everything they may need at their fingertips. Rather than charge individually for these services, we provide these items, and more, to every Sky Rock guest for $29 plus tax per day.


This Amenity Fee includes:

  • Signature Hot Breakfast Buffet served daily from 6am until 10am
  • About Town Shuttle Service offering transportation within a 1½ mile radius of the hotel. Door to door service to most West Sedona locations and a central drop off for Uptown Sedona.
  • Electric Car Charging Station for Tesla and other models.

  • 3 Hydration stations for water bottle fill-ups
  • High-speed Wi-Fi access throughout the property

Are taxes included in the rate?

The rates do not include tax. The current tax is 13.325 percent.




How do I make a change to my existing reservation which I booked through a website other than the hotel website?

If you did not book direct on SkyRockSedona.com, you will need to contact the agency or website where the reservation was originally made for any changes.

Do you offer Group Rates? Who should we contact?

We would love to host your group! Contact the sales team Sales@SkyRockSedona.com and we’ll work with you to make your event a wonderful experience.

What is the minimum age requirement to check into the room?

Special rules may apply for guests under the age of 18. Please contact the hotel directly prior to making a reservation for underage check-ins.

Is my ID/passport required at check-in?

We do require a photo ID at the time of check-in for all reservations.

Is Sky Rock Inn of Sedona Hotel good for couples?

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, but they are very limited. Please feel free to request connectors, but this is not guaranteed.

Are all rooms pet friendly or just select rooms?

Pets are welcome at this pet friendly hotel based on the availability of pet friendly rooms. Unusual pet types (cats, birds, etc) may be accepted at the hotel’s discretion. We have a number of rooms reserved for pets in every room type from our most economical to a King Room with a fireplace. There is a one-time per stay pet-fee of $25 + tax, no matter how long your stay. This fee is non-refundable and includes complimentary items available at the front desk, including dog biscuits and pet waste bags (please clean up after your pet on walks or hiking trails)! How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?

There are trails adjacent to the property to take your pet for a stroll. Please pick up after them to help keep the property looking nice for all pets and humans. The front desk staff can give you directions to the Sedona Dog Park located just ½ mile away.

Do you have high speed WiFi internet access?

Yes, wireless internet is provided in the public spaces and rooms.

Is the hotel clean and are the beds comfortable? Newly renovated or updated?

We are very proud of our housekeeping staff. Our beds have new pillow top mattresses and we have just finished a multi-million dollar renovation of the entire property.

If we are on 1st floor are we allowed to go to terraces on higher floors?

Yes, you may go to the terraces on the other floors. They are accessible to the all our guests. Just be aware that there are rooms very close by, so noise could be an issue.

Does the hotel have an elevator?

There are no elevators, because the hotel is located on a ridge each floor is accessible by a sloping sidewalk, no stairs needed. The third floor is actually Lobby level, the 2nd and 3rd floors are lower levels.

Do the 2nd floor rooms have balconies?

There are no private balconies. There are promenade terraces on the 2nd and 3rd floors that the rooms open out into. These are furnished with soft seating groups and fire tables.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Will your rooms allow rollaway beds/cribs/play-yards?

Sky Rock does not offer rollaway beds. We do offer ‘Pack and Play’ cribs for our younger guests at no charge.

What is the charge for parking and internet?

Parking and internet are included in the amenity fee.

What is the smoking policy?

This Sedona Hotel is 100% smoke-free

Is the pool indoors or out? If outside, is it heated?

It is outdoors and is heated.

What are the pool hours?

Pool hours are 8:00am to 10:00p.m

Do you offer an especially good breakfast and what are the breakfast hours?

We offer a very nice breakfast from 6am till 10am which is included in your amenity fee.

How many meeting rooms are in the Sedona hotel?

Sky Rock has one meeting room, the Tranquility Room, which is available for groups from 2 to 25. Please contact Sales@SkyRockSedona.com for more details.

Is there a fitness center?

We have a fitness center that is open from 8am till 10pm. The fitness center is temporarily closed for repairs and will open again in March, 2020. But if you want the most amazing workout of your life just go and take a hike!

Do you offer bikes? Wellness programs?

We currently don’t offer bikes, but we have a great bike shop here in Sedona. Just ask the Concierge for assistance. We are developing a wellness program and will supply a calendar of activities at check in.


Is Sky Rock Inn of Sedona Hotel near Chapel of the Holy Cross?

Sky Rock is close to everything ‘Sedona’. We are 5 miles from the Chapel of the Holy Cross.

Which airport should I fly into?

Phoenix Sky Harbor is the closest International Airport.  Flagstaff airport is a small airport about 45 minutes from Sky Rock Inn of Sedona, US Airways is the only airline and typically a connecting flight is required.



Groome Transportation, https://groometransportation.com/ is a great way to get to Sedona from Sky Harbor.

How far are you from the Sedona Creative Life Center? Would your shuttle be able to take us there?

The Creative Life Center is about 2 miles from the hotel. Our About Town Shuttle can take you there and pick you up when your event is complete. Please be sure to have your cell phone, the Center does not have phones readily available for guest use.

Is this hotel walking distance to Sedona shops and restaurants?

Yes we do have restaurants and shops within walking distance. We also have our About Town Shuttle that runs from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily and is included in your amenity fee. It goes within 3 miles of the hotel. This covers most of Sedona proper and can get you to most shops and restaurants. We also have Concierge service to help you plan your time here in Sedona.
